Work With Me
I work with engineering leaders in three modes: a diagnostic, a workshop, or ongoing advisory. Most engagements start with the diagnostic, because the first useful thing I can do is name what is actually slowing you down.
Who I work with: CTO · VP Engineering · Engineering Manager. Product organisations of roughly 20 to 150 engineers, usually somewhere between “we bought the tools” and “the board is asking what they returned”.
the engagement ladder
Low threshold at the bottom, flagship at the top. Every engagement carries a starting price, because a price range you can check is what makes the first email a real one.
| Engagement | Who it is for | Format | Outcome | Price |

AI Readiness Assessment
Flagship
You are investing in AI and cannot tell whether it is improving engineering. Often the constraint is not the AI. |
CTOs and VPs of Engineering who are planning, scaling or rescuing an AI rollout | 2 to 3 weeks. 8 to 12 interviews, delivery data review, SDLC review, written report, session with the leadership team. | A ranked list of bottlenecks, a 90-day roadmap, and a realistic thesis on where the ROI actually is. | from €9,000 |
|
Engineering Effectiveness Review
Delivery is slower than it should be and nobody can agree on why. A bounded diagnostic that finds where the time actually goes. |
Engineering organisations of 20 to 100 where delivery is slower than it should be | 3 weeks. Delivery data, interviews, and a workshop on the findings. | Mapped constraints, a metric set your leadership can act on, and a sequenced intervention plan. | from €7,500 |
|
Workshops
Two named days to choose from: where AI actually helps, or which constraint to solve first. |
Engineering leadership groups and the teams they are deciding for | One-day leadership workshop, remote or on site. 'AI as an Amplifier' or 'Find the Constraint'. Includes preparation, the day itself and follow-up recommendations. | A shared language, concrete decisions on the day, and materials to keep working with. | from €3,000 |
|
Engineering Leadership Advisory
The conversation you cannot have with your own team or your own board. Usually the step after an assessment or a review, when the organisation is already understood. |
CTOs, VPs of Engineering and technical founders facing decisions they cannot easily discuss inside their own organisation | 2 × 60 min per month, plus async between sessions. | An external thinking partner for the engineering leadership decisions that have no good audience inside your own company. | from €1,500 / month 3-month minimum |
how I work
Every engagement runs the same four stages, in the same order. You always know which one we are in and what leaves it.
Diagnose → Name the constraint → Sequence the fix → Leave the system measurable
-
Diagnose
Interviews across the whole delivery chain, plus your own delivery data. No framework and no slides yet: first I need to see how work actually moves.
What leaves this stage: A written map of how a change travels from idea to production, and where it waits.
-
Name the constraint
One constraint, written in a sentence your CFO and your staff engineers both recognise. Everything else is noise until that one moves.
What leaves this stage: One named constraint, with the evidence behind it and the three candidates it beat.
-
Sequence the fix
A 90-day plan ordered by what unblocks what, not by what is cheapest to start on Monday.
What leaves this stage: A 90-day plan with owners, and a session where your leadership team argues with it.
-
Leave the system measurable
The metric set and the review cadence stay with your team, so the next constraint gets named without me in the room.
What leaves this stage: A metric set your team already knows how to read, and a review cadence that survives me leaving.
Durations are the shape of an assessment or a review. A workshop compresses the first three stages into the preparation week; the advisory runs the same loop every month.

questions engineering leaders ask before booking
How much does an engagement cost?
Every engagement on this page carries a starting price, so you can size it before you talk to me. The Assessment and the Review are fixed scope and fixed price once we agree the scope on the diagnostic call. You will not get an hourly invoice that grows.
How long does this take, and how much of my team's time does it need?
The Assessment runs 2 to 3 weeks and needs 8 to 12 interviews of 45 minutes, plus read access to your delivery data. The Review runs 3 weeks on the same shape. Nobody has to prepare a deck, and no team stops shipping while it runs.
We already work with a consultancy. Why would we add a consultant?
A consultancy sells delivery capacity. I sell a named constraint and the decision that removes it, and then I leave. If your current consultant has already named your bottleneck and you disagree with the sequencing, that is exactly the conversation to have on the diagnostic call.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes, before the first interview. Delivery data stays with me for the length of the engagement and is deleted afterwards on request. Interviews are reported without attribution, which is the only way people tell you what is actually happening.
When can you start?
Currently booking new engagements. Typically 2 to 3 clients at a time. A diagnostic call is usually available inside a fortnight, whatever the engagement queue looks like.
Do you work remotely, and where are you based?
Remote by default, on site for workshops and for the leadership session at the end of an assessment. I am based in Poland and work with teams across Europe, in English.
